Peace · Wisdom · Compassion — A 12-Week Journey of Becoming
A structured journey bringing mindfulness, NVC, and compassionate practice into everyday life. Open to individuals, couples, and small groups.
In learning spaces, we experience hearts opening and connecting. But when we return to daily life — at home, at work, in the middle of conflict — that sense fades. Life outside the classroom is always more complex, more irregular, more human.
This course is designed to actually live NVC and mindfulness within that 'everyday messiness'. The Ongo Book 2.0 helps you embody habits of peace and compassion through sustained inspiration, step-by-step guidance, and community support.
This book invites you to prioritize the meditative values of compassion and clarity in ordinary daily life. It is full of practical advice.
— Sharon Salzberg, Lovingkindness authorThe practice of maintaining inner stillness even in the chaos of daily life. Through stillness, speech, and action meditation, peace becomes a way of living.
You free yourself from habitual thought patterns and learn to listen to the signals of body and emotion. Awareness opens the door to wisdom.
Beginning with self-compassion, through empathic listening, honest speaking, making requests, and forgiveness — compassion transforms relationships.
12-Week Curriculum
Each week includes three formats: solo practice · buddy practice · group circle
Daily personal meditation, journaling, and everyday experiments. Life itself becomes the practice ground.
Empathy practice with a partner or one colleague. Deep listening and honest dialogue are shared together.
A circle gathering where a small group comes together to share, support each other's practice, and experience community.
Who It's For
Those encountering NVC for the first time or wanting to learn systematically from the ground up. You will naturally absorb it through practice, not theory.
Those who've received NVC training but feel it doesn't translate into daily life. This course bridges the gap between knowing and living.
Couples or families seeking deeper connection and understanding in their relationship. Grow together through buddy practice.
Communities — churches, workplaces, schools — wanting to build a nonviolent culture as a small group. Full group circle materials included.
Testimonials
This journey opened my heart in ways I never thought possible. If every person in the world experienced these 12 weeks, we would live in a far kinder and wiser world.
This book is an invaluable resource for anyone seeking to bring more awareness, love, and connection into their life.
To realize spiritual evolution, we need the support of communities that share the same vision and values. The Ongo Book is a practical support structure for this vision.
